Archie Coulson
Archie co-founded Postern in 1991 following many years of experience in reconstructions across a wide variety of industries. At Postern Archie has managed some 29 assignments, being chairman or deputy chairman of 15 of these.

His assignments have included the chairmanship of Prestwick Holdings plc, the chairmanship of a £200 million turnover private agricultural and processing group, deputy chairman ERA Group plc and chairman of a multi-national logistics group.

Stuart Marshall
Having qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in 1990, Stuart spent eleven years in corporate finance in Paris and London, latterly as a Director of S.G. Hambros.

During that time, Stuart advised on numerous public and private transactions and fund raisings across a range of commercial sectors and jurisdictions.

Stuart joined Postern in 2001 playing a leading role in several re-financings and turnaround management assignments. During these assignments Stuart gained significant experience of funding turnarounds through the use of Asset Based Lending structures. The lack of objective professional advice available in the asset Based Lending market was a key driver in Stuart's decision to establish Litmus Advisory Ltd.

Between 2001 and 2005, Stuart was also Chief Financial Officer of Postern Fund Management Limited, a fund manager specialising in turnaround investments.

Michèle Maddocks
Michèle joined Postern after an eight-year period in Financial Public Relations as an Account Executive with Broad Street Associates and Warwick Corporate working on several takeover bids and handling analyst, media and investor relations. She is currently responsible for the marketing and resourcing of interim candidates having successfully secured interim managers for clients in the retail, food, manufacturing and public sector.
